Method
- Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
- Measure Lucky Charms cereal into a large mixing bowl.
- In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter completely.
- Add mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir constantly until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract if using.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal and fold until coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press gently into an even layer.
- Let cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.
Notes
Use fresh marshmallows for best results. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
