- Thoroughly wash all citrus fruits under cool running water, scrubbing gently to remove any surface residues.
- Cut each fruit in half and juice using a manual citrus reamer or electric juicer. Strain the combined citrus juice through a fine-mesh strainer to remove pulp and seeds.
- Grate fresh ginger using a microplane grater to achieve fine, aromatic pieces.
- In a large glass pitcher, combine the strained citrus juice with filtered water. Add grated ginger, cayenne pepper, and sea salt. Stir vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness with honey if desired. Serve immediately over ice or chill for 30 minutes before consumption.
