Ingredients
  

  • 12 large dill pickle spears
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 24 slices Genoa salami
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Pat the pickle spears dry with paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese with garlic powder, dried dill, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Lay out salami slices, overlapping two slices for each pickle spear.
  4. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese mixture over the salami.
  5. Place a pickle spear at the edge of the salami and roll it up tightly.
  6. Place each roll seam-side down on a platter.
  7. Slice each roll into one-inch pieces and arrange on the platter.

Notes

Ensure pickles are dry to prevent cream cheese from sliding off. Use room temperature cream cheese for easy spreading. These can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
