Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium green cabbage head (2-3 pounds)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage head and rinse thoroughly under cold water. Pat completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Slice the cabbage in half through the core, then cut each half into 3-4 wedges, ensuring the core remains intact.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined. Add the cabbage wedges and gently toss.
  4. Allow the wedges to rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Arrange the seasoned wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6-8 minutes, then flip each wedge and continue cooking for an additional 6-7 minutes.
  7. Remove the wedges from the air fryer and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Always pat wedges completely dry before seasoning. Store cooked wedges in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
