Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheets onto a lightly floured surface and roll them out to smooth any creases.
- Brush the entire surface of each puff pastry sheet with melted butter.
- In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over both buttered pastry sheets.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut each sheet into strips about 1 inch wide and 4 to 5 inches long.
- For a fancier look, gently twist each strip a few times before placing it on your prepared baking sheet.
- Arrange the sticks on your baking sheets, leaving a little space between each one. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they're puffed, golden brown, and crispy on the edges.
- Let the crack sticks cool on the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
Notes
These crack sticks can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
