- Rinse bok choy thoroughly under cold water and pat dry.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, sugar, broth, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
- Add minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add bok choy cut side down and sear for about 2 minutes.
- Flip bok choy and cook for another 2 minutes until leaves are wilted.
- Stir the sauce mixture and pour it over the bok choy, tossing gently.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
Notes
Make sure to use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Don't overcrowd the pan to ensure proper searing.
