Method
- Thoroughly wash all berries under cold running water. Remove any stems, leaves, or damaged fruit. Pat dry with clean paper towels.
- Remove the apple core and seeds, then chop into small chunks.
- Using a fine grater or microplane, grate one teaspoon of fresh ginger.
- Add berries, chopped apple, grated ginger, and lemon juice to high-speed blender. Pour in half the water initially.
- Blend on high speed for 60-90 seconds until completely smooth.
- For silky smooth texture, strain through fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
- Add remaining water gradually until desired consistency is reached. Taste and add honey if needed.
Notes
Consume within 2 hours for peak antioxidant activity. Store in airtight glass containers for up to 24 hours. Freeze in ice cube trays for up to 3 months.
